Swansea born artist, Graham Parker, explores relationships between land, sea and sky. His expressive horizons and seascapes capture the fascination that endures in coastal places - their tranquillity, sense of space and almost mystical presence of sea, land and sky.
Graham said:
“My paintings focus on horizons, the points where land or sea and sky appear to connect. It’s a special place that, for a moment, seems solid and complete but move towards the horizon and what appeared certain and known, is an ever-changing illusion and seemingly beyond reach. My aim as a painter is to is to guide the viewer into and beyond that magical space, where hopes and dreams exist and particles of light and colour pop and sparkle.”
