Hannah Duncan is a Swansea based contemporary jeweller who works predominately in enamel, copper and silver. She graduated from Hereford College of Arts in 2016 with a BA in Jewellery Design.

Hannah’s jewellery is inspired by British coastal landscapes, in particular the south-west coast of Scotland. Expanding on her graduate collection ‘High Tide’ she has continued her use of enamelling and foldforming to create jewellery that embodies these coastal landscapes.

The collection is evocative of several aspects of the beaches – some items depicting islands and rocky landscapes whilst others are based on the varying colours and patterns found in the sand, stones and shells. Through firing sand into the surface of the enamel these have become tactile reminders of personal memories of the beach.
