Thursday 19th November 10am - 4pm
This will be an all day workshop experimenting with free-stitch and mixed media using vintage paper and fabric creating original cards for special people.
You will need a sewing machine that has the ability to free stitch, an assortment of
fabric, paper, embroidery hoop, threads for the machine and hand sewing. Alison
will also be providing materials and cards/envelopes.
Alison Moger is a practising artist working with free - stitch, mixed media and print; her work will always have a recycling, environmental and family ethos at its heart. She is an avid collector of vintage textiles and domestic objects that show the passage of time and the human interaction; Alison embraces storytelling through the visual process.
Due to Health and Safety precautions we are limiting class sizes to 4 people, for all of our sessions, for the time being.
PPE (face shields, gloves and aprons) and hand sanitiser will be provided for all of our workshops.
Unfortunately we will not be able to offer our usual refreshments at this time, but you are welcome to bring your own thermos or drinking bottles.
