Tuesday 20th October 10am - 4pm

Landscape and free stitch.
(The image for Alison's inspiration came from the cover of a well loved book, Wuthering heights!)

This is a full day workshop exploring familiar or sentimental landscapespersonal to the individual; you will need a sewing machine that has theability to free stitch, an assortment of fabric, embroidery hoop, threads for the machine and hand sewing, an image of a landscape that holds memories for you or inspires you (Alison will also have available fabric and will provide calico as the stabilising background). The work will be able to be hung without a frame.

Alison Moger is a practising artist working with free - stitch, mixed media and print; her work will always have a recycling, environmental and family ethos at its heart. She is an avid collector of vintage textiles and domestic objects that show the passage of time and the human interaction; Alison embraces storytelling through the visual process.

Due to Health and Safety precautions we are limiting class sizes to 4 people, for all of our sessions, for the time being.

PPE (face shields, gloves and aprons) and hand sanitiser will be provided for all of our workshops.

Unfortunately we will not be able to offer our usual refreshments at this time, but you are welcome to bring your own thermos or drinking bottles.
