Discover the delightful art of textile printing in a hands-on workshop focused on unleashing creativity. Join us as we delve into the world of fabric design using Indian wooden block prints. Each participant will a tote bag to print their unique  design, and a matching print to take home to frame. 
 
This relaxed and engaging session offers an accessible introduction to fabric printing, allowing you to depart with two one-of-a-kind, handprinted pieces sure to turn heads. Get ready for the inevitable question: "Where did you find those?"
 
Meet Lesley, a talented fabric printer and maker. Under Lesley’s expert guidance, you will unleash your creativity while experimenting with a diverse array of wooden printing blocks,  and a vibrant spectrum of colours.
 
All necessary printing materials, including practice materials and a tote bag, will be supplied. This workshop is catered to adults but is also suitable for creative young minds looking to explore the art of fabric printing.

 

Please note:

 

Information regarding 'fixing' your work at home (to improve the colour-fastness of the colours) will be provided on the day.  

 

We will be using non-toxic water-based fabric paint and disposable aprons will be provided, but please ensure you wear clothing that you don’t mind getting messy in!
