I am a self taught artist working in a variety of mediums. My work includes landscape, abstract, portrait, figurative, cityscape, and collaboration.

I have exhibited nationally and internationally, most recently with Royal Birmingham Society of Artists (award winner) Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours (award winner) and Wales Contemporary (award winner) as well as galleries in London, Dublin and Paris. 

My focus is character and place, only painting what I love. I’m interested in discovering the subject through its rhythm, it’s story.

I like to show the process as much as possible, layers of time, feelings, all working together to interpret the moment I’m most intensely connected. I only know how I’m truly seeing the subject after I’ve painted it.
