Brenda's work explores the texture, pattern and light of Aberavon Beach and the seascapes near her home in Port Talbot.

She attended both Liverpool and Newport Colleges of Art, gaining 1st class Honours in Art and Design.

Brenda now concentrates on painting, these are usually  sea scenes of Aberavon Beach etc., but would also like to concentrate on more traditional paintings of nature, etc., She looks for the poetry in the subject.

Her favourite artists are; Pierre Bonnard, George Jardin and  of course, her husband, Bert Evans.
