Hiraeth: A Celebration of Home and Belonging

Opening on Saturday 6th September at 2pm our new exhibition, Hiraeth, will feature atmospheric works by Studio 40 artists. It is an ode to the nostalgic and often emotionally charged nature of home, family, and displacement. Using a variety of mediums the artists delve into the essence of home to examine its role in shaping memories and identities.
Hiraeth presents us a space that embodies the spectre of the home. It emulates the familiar sights, smells, and sounds of home and offers us a glimpse into the enduring notion of home, amidst the trials of emptiness and grief.

Yn agor ddydd Sadwrn 6ed Medi am 2pm bydd ein harddangosfa newydd, Hiraeth, yn cynnwys gweithiau atmosfferig gan artistiaid Stiwdio 40. Mae’n od i natur hiraethus ac yn aml yn llawn emosiwn cartref, teulu, a dadleoli. Gan ddefnyddio amrywiaeth o gyfryngau mae’r artistiaid yn ymchwilio i hanfod cartref i archwilio ei rôl wrth lunio atgofion a hunaniaethau.
Mae Hiraeth yn cyflwyno lle i ni sy’n ymgorffori bwgan y cartref. Mae’n efelychu golygfeydd, arogleuon a synau cyfarwydd cartref ac yn cynnig cipolwg i ni ar y syniad parhaol o gartref, yng nghanol treialon gwacter a galar.
