'I have always enjoyed collecting and storing interesting objects. My work reflects a need to create something new out of something old'. The idea of joining and mixing components to create art is a personal compulsion.

Jocelyn Prosser was born in 1964 in Toronto to a French father and a Welsh mother and holds UK and Canadian citizenship.

Her first real entry into the art world was in 1997, when she began to paint and exhibited in 2001. In recent, she has held three solo exhibitions and taken part in a number of group shows in Wales.

She currently shows her work at the Victoria Fern Gallery, Cardiff. Whitecourt Art, Brecon and Oriel Lliw, Pontardawe.
