James Peaple

James is a PhD research student at the University of Wales, Trinity St.David’s in Swansea having successfully completed both his BA and MA Degrees in Photography with First Class Honours there in 2023 and 2025, and securing the School of Art’s Award for Excellence in the process. He is passionate about using the medium to creatively explore relationships between memory, identity and place. In doing so he seeks to explore how cultural connections between people and their communities develop and are communicated through image to audience.
