OPEN 21

Queen Street Gallery OPEN 21 Competition, is the third Open Competition. the gallery has organised. We had a fantastic response with over 70 entries from across Wales and the UK!

We are most grateful to the judges, Mary Hayman, Felix Akulw and Tony Botto, and a huge thank you to all the artists who entered, without whom the competition would not exist.

 

The winning entry was ‘Perfect Day’ by Graham Parker, David Williams came second and Sandra Wintle in 3rd place.

​

We welcomed entries of original works from established practitioners and emerging artists of all professions and disciplines.

 

An exhibition of the Finalists work can be view at our premises in Neath during August 2021 and all the finalists’ work is available to view and purchase on the website as part of a online selling exhibition which will run until the end of 2021.
