An Illustrated Talk with Iwan Bala
The title suggests that I have little choice but to make the work I make, it is driven by my identity and my heritage, political and historical reality and mythical, poetic readings of my culture and landscape. I think of my work as 'field-notes', it is informed by the past, but is 'Here and Now'.
Iwan's talk will last an hour approx, with time for questions following. He will show and discuss work from his career, focusing more on work from the last two years.
