GeminII Connexions Revisited!

GeminII Connexions Revisited!

Rosemary Cassidy Buswell & Judith Railton

July 4th - 25th

Opening Saturday July 4th, 2pm

Jud & Rosy, as they are known to each other, met at Manchester College of Art, now MMU in the early 70’s in the Fine Art and Textile Department and have remained friends ever since, over many countries and continents.

They have often exhibited together during the years, notably in ‘Chalk & Fromage’, when Rosy was living in France at the time, and ‘GeminII Connexions’ over 20 years ago. They are both born under the sign of Gemini, hence the title of the show. Recognising that their work is very different, but both liking a lot of the same things, this body of work shows their individual response to various themes. Some of the pieces are retro from their previous shows, and other collaborations. There is also new work made for this exhibition at Queen Street Gallery. The Gallery and the artists hope that you will enjoy this fun and quirky show, and find something of interest amongst the exhibits that will make you smile!
