Under Milk Wood

October 4th - 25th

Under Milk Wood by Welsh poet Dylan Thomas began as a radio drama in 1954 before being adapted into a stage pay which first premiered in New York City. In 1972 a film adaptation was released starring Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor.

Set in Llareggub, a fictional Welsh seaside village, Under Milk Wood follows the lives, dreams and desires of the inhabitants of the village such as Captain Cat.

We invited artists of all ages to create art based on this wonderful story and to submit it for our very own Under Milk Wood exhibition. We’ve had such a wonderful response with incredible submissions. It’s going to be a fabulous show!
