Lesley Dearn exhibition - Inspired by light, life and movement. 

 

I am a passionate professional artist and have been a finalist  in several national competitions in recent years.

 

My constant themes are light, life and movement. I explore them and through different media and subjects, challenging my skills in painting interpretation, and striving through observation, expression and experiment to bring that light and life to others.

 

I walk the coast paths and hills of South Wales, and in recent years I’ve painted more and more outside, to capture the moods,  light and colours in work I complete in studio.  I get a thrill from being in nature, and an almost physical thrill from painting. I hope you can see – and feel - that outdoor experience in the work.
