Mynnydd i’r Môr - June 22nd - July 27th

A joint exhibition featuring fantastic work by Colin Davies, David Williams and Sandra Wintle and some incredible furniture by Andy McCloy.

This exhibition is a celebration of the Welsh Landscape. It brings together a collection of paintings inspired by the dramatic scenery of both land and sea.

‘Mynnydd i’r Môr’ (‘Mountain to Sea’) is the result of a collaboration by three artists with a mutual appreciation of the other’s work, but each possessing their own unique way of interpreting a personal connection with their surroundings. Whilst media, styles and techniques vary, each uses an expressive, fluid style to create a vibrant depiction of the rugged beauty of the Welsh coastline and mountains. The work on show is inspired by their own experience of a place and the images it generates in the imagination. It is hoped that this exhibition will evoke memories and emotions, both past and present, that are important to all of us.

The show runs alongside 'Mynnydd i'r Mor' and 'Follow the Light' by Maureen Carlson until July 27th.

Follow the Light - Maureen Carlson

June 22nd - July 27th. Cwtch Gallery

This month in our Cwtch Gallery we have a retrospective exhibition featuring a selection of still life paintings by Maureen Carlson.

Her influencers have varied over the years from Freud to Colin Davidson and Jonathan Yeo.

She uses acrylic and oil paints, charcoal, graphite and pastels mostly in her work which would be described as representational. She works mostly from photographs that she has taken of people and plants, and recently fruit and vegetables for still life paintings.

My family recently moved to Europe, and we were planning to visit Tunisia for the holidays. I was confused about whether our EU residence permits were enough to enter Tunisia. While searching for answers, I found https://horizontunisia.org/can-i-travel-to-tunisia-with-eu-residence-permit/ . The article titled Can I Travel to Tunisia with an EU Residence Permit? provided all the information I was looking for. It explained the visa requirements in a simple way and included helpful advice on what to expect at the airport. The detailed information about the necessary documents and the entry process was very reassuring. This site made our travel planning so much easier and stress-free. It was a great resource for understanding travel requirements to Tunisia.
