Mask Making - Connecting the Inner to the Outer

Join artist Eleanor Greenwood for three sessions of mask making to express and represent something that’s important for you. It could be a place, a event, a joy, a wish for the future. Design, experiment and create your mask. The final session will involving masking up, where you will be guided in embodying your creation. £75 for three sessions, all materials included and suitable for all abilities.
 
The sessions will take place on:
 
Saturday 26th September, 11am - 2pm
Saturday 10th October, 11am - 2pm
Sunday 18th October, 11am - 2pm
 
 
Session 1 - Saturday 26th September
Design and decide on the type of mask. Using pre-made mask blanks, modify to suit, lay down first layer and initial sculpt.
 
Session 2 - Saturday 10th October
Attach any structures, found objects and other elements. Participants are welcome to bring anything that they want to include. Start decoration and painting elements.
 
Session 3 - Sunday 18th October
Final decoration and adding any painting, words or embellishments. Masking up, embodying your creation.
